… I DEFEND MY THESIS, AND MY CLAIM TO MASTERY.
Here we go.
… You THINK you’ve finished with nearly everything, then someone reminds you that you have about 15 more pages of writing to finish for a class you took months ago but forgot about. And if you don’t, you’re not graduating.
Naturally, I made her lie on said tracks.
A photo I took of my mother.
We were in Arkansas, back in the town where she grew up.
She was driving me around, showing me places she once knew. We stopped and parked in front of this whitewashed, barred up, abandoned shack that seemed randomly positioned on the road, right next to a set of railroad tracks.
Apparently it was a general store when she was growing up. No signs of that, now.
For a short while, I was fairly interested in photography. I took a photography class, had to buy a film camera, developed most of my own film and photos and such. I haven’t really done much with any of the work that came out of that, though I don’t think any of it turned out that poorly.
I think I might start posting some of those photos. None of them are recent… And they’re mostly landscapes.
But maybe someone will enjoy them.
